What makes a rose "preserved"?
Each rose is cut at peak bloom, then its natural sap is replaced with a plant-based glycerine solution. The petals stay soft and flexible — they still feel like a fresh rose, because they are one. The colour is locked in at the same time, which is why a preserved rose doesn't brown or drop petals the way a dried flower does.
How to keep them looking new
Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from steam or damp. Don't water them — there's nothing to water. If they gather dust, a hairdryer on its coolest setting from about a foot away is all it takes. That's the entire care routine.
How long will mine actually last?
Between one and three years, depending on where you keep them. A bright, humid bathroom windowsill is the hard end of that range. A shelf in a normal room is the easy end. Most customers still have theirs looking good well past the second year.
